I'm finally up in Seattle today! It is breath-takingly gorgeous. My host home is incredibly comfortable, and the host is too funny. He's German, and of course, wants to grab beers to get to know the person who is living with him for a month. His wife is unfortunately stuck in Singapore, and he may have to go to China for a week. Meaning... I may get this home to myself for the time being.
Visited UW and it is large and scary. It's definitely going to a week or more to get used to such a huge medical center. The busline is called the ORCA, and I bought a month pass to get around anywhere. It's nice, and I'm looking forward to the weekends.
Also, I went on a date yesterday... and it was cute and fun. We'll see how it goes. Considering that we met, and then I took off for two months. Absence makes the heart grow fonder? :D
Glad you arrived in Seattle safely! I miss that place, wish I could visit it again. When you become a pro at navigating the area, please be my tour guide? :D
