Every time G posts about make-up, I make a mental note to bring it up at the next GN. Usually, I forget since there tends to be juicer things to talk about. I recently discovered the Sephora pop-up shop inside the JC Penny's in Lubbock, so living next to the mall makes my credit card weep whenever there's an upcoming exam.
I like to add new items into rotation, but eventually I'd want to throw out all my make-up except for my standard set. In college, my routine consisted of swiping on some eyeliner before heading out the door. Now, I've been trying to focus more on skin care after many years of neglect.
BB Cream: Skin 79. Strangely, it was my brother who introduced me to BB Creams. He bought Missha to conceal some pimples, and I decided to try some out. I used Stila's tinted moisturizer until then. The BB cream's consistency is pretty thick, and I really wanted to avoid looking like I smeared pancake batter on my face. But after learning how to apply it (using just a quarter pump and fingertips), it's hard to leave the house without it. The pink one is great for humid summers (held up well in NY), but I may have to buy the silver one for the dry winters here.
Moisturizer: Clinique Moisture Surge. Originally a stocking stuffer, I've been using this during the summer since the matte moisturizer has been drying out my skin. It smells nice, and a small dollop goes a long way. I put this one before the BB cream.
Moisturizer: La Roche-Posay. This stuff is great! I hate how greasy most moisturizers feel, and this product eliminates that factor. I've been using it on mornings when my face feels like a greaseball.
Eye Liner: Urban Decay 24/7 in Perversion. The packaging has changed to tubes, but it's my favorite liquid eyeliner.
Lip Balm: EOS in Melon.
Lipstick: Wet n' Wild Matte in Smoking Hot Pink. Cheap and intense color.
Perfume: Burberry Weekend. I've been looking for a new scent, but I like the fresh notes on this one.

I really want to try BB cream from Missha but haven't worked up the nerve to do so! I have two more EOS balms to go through before I can even think about buying a different scent haha
